We bought a few bottles each of this and its Cabernet Franc cousin and were taken by both of them. Rustic, yes, but (and?) especially food friendly. The sort of wine you might hope for as a house red in a stopover in the Loire valley. The CF/Cot blend looks well worth trying too.
