Domaine Edmond RENTZ - The Vineyard

Founded in 1785, this estate in Zellenberg has been passed from father to son ever since. The estate has grown and evolved over the years, battling with everything from Phylloxera and both World Wars.

Expansion and modernisation in the 50s allowed the family to aim for the highest quality by vinifying not only by variety but also by the varying soil types in their different plots. The current owners are following the family footsteps and continuing to modernise their farming practices.

Having just achieved the third and highest level of environmental certification, they are proud of their commitment to the vineyard’s biodiversity and eco-conscious approach to winemaking.
